Importing catalogs via FTP

Catalog files can be uploaded directly to Fanplayr's FTP servers, allowing catalog updates to be fully automated by your systems.

• A set of FTP credentials will be provided for each catalog you need to manage. Credentials consist of a username and an SSH private key file.

• Import operations start automatically for each file uploaded. See Viewing catalogs and imports to learn how to monitor the progress and status of import operations after completing an FTP upload.

• Operation logs are created alongside each uploaded catalog file. For example, if you upload a file named Catalog-20200903.json, a log file such as Catalog-20200903.json-20200930-122311.log will be generated once the operation completes. This log file can be used to identify and correct any import errors.
