Dashboard

The SMS dashboard shows statistics related to your SMS messaging. The messages and figures can be filtered by date.

Subscriber Totals

These totals show information corresponding to the state of the account's subscribers. The values will not change based on the filter dates. Below is a description of each statistic.

  • Subscribers: The total number of people that have ever subscribed to SMS. A user counts as a subscriber if he or she responds affirmatively to the initial opt-in message.

  • Active: The total number of active subscribers. These are people who have not opted out and are able to receive SMS messages.

  • Blocked: The total number of blocked subscribers. These are people who have opted out of receiving SMS messages and never re-subscribed. Blocked phone numbers will not be sent messages.

Filtered SMS Totals

While the subscriber totals section above provides numbers based on the status of people's phone numbers in the system, these statistics reflect more on the messages themselves. The values depend on the date range selected. Below is a description of each element:

  • Permission Requests: The number of times a user has entered his or her phone number into an SMS widget component and submitted the number to our system.

  • Permissions Granted: The number of times users have responded to our initial opt-in message and subscribed to receive SMS messages in the future. This number also includes re-subscriptions, which are users who unsubscribed and then requested to subscribe to the system again.

  • Messages Sent: The total number of messages sent. This number includes template, manual, and opt-in messages, but does not include automatic response messages such as those sent when a user types "HELP".

  • User Interactions: The number of times a user has clicked on the URL in an SMS message.

Filtered SMS Message Details

In this section, there will be a table for each message type: template and manual. Opt-in messages will appear at the top of the template table and are marked as "Automatic". The values in the "Sent" and "Clicked" columns will change depending on the filter dates, as they will only include messages sent or interacted with between the two dates.
