Creative Editor Use Cases

  • Email collection – Customized for different segments & presented at key points in a visitor's journey to maximize sign-ups

  • Targeted banners – Embedded directly into your site. E.g. "Free Shipping throughout California"

  • Customer retention – Show appropriate content or offers to certain segments of users when they appear likely to abandon their carts

  • New Customer Acquisition – Show appropriately customized content and / or offers to users who are identified as potential new customers

  • Cart upsell – Motivate customers to increase their cart size, prior to check-out, through offers and customized content

  • Request for Quote – In the case of high value items or carts, show a visitor an appropriately customized form, suggesting contact by phone or email

  • Related Products – Show suggestions of related products to certain visitors, depending on their behavior on site

  • Reinforce Email Retargeting – By recognizing traffic from email newsletters, show appropriately customized content to traffic from that source, to reinforce promotions and messaging from the retargeting campaigns

  • Embedded content – Show customized content to certain segments of visitors, in allocated containers on the site pages

  • Financing options – Where the site provides financing options for high value carts / items, show embedded banners directing to that content when the cart value exceeds $x

  • Responsive content – Use the Creative Editor to design responsive targeted content, that will automatically adapt for display on tablets and smartphones

  • Alternate views of content – Use the Creative Editor to design an alternate view for certain content (e.g. if an overlay widget is closed, show a summary banner at the bottom of the screen

  • Multiple languages & currencies – Use the Creative Editor to design content that can be automatically reconfigured for alternative languages and currencies

  • Loyalty – Use the Creative Editor to design customized content for specific loyalty campaigns

  • Restricted Brands – Where certain product ranges cannot be discounted, show targeted content providing related discountable products, use of loyalty points etc.

  • Get Users into Stores – For certain types of products (e.g. fridges, ovens) it may be preferable to get the customers to come into the nearest store - show appropriately customized content to encourage and incent this behavior

  • Mobile – Design targeted content exclusively for mobile users, including multiple different views

  • Design testing – Use the Creative Editor to design multiple alternative versions of targeted content and then use the Segmentation Engine to test the relative effectiveness of that content”

  • Site-wide Offers – Design targeted content to appear to certain segments of users to reinforce the terms of any site wide promotions (e.g. if there is a 10% discount on cart sizes above $100, show a prompt to shoppers with, say, $80 in cart etc.)”
