List

PreviousAutomationsNextEditing

Last updated 12 months ago

When clicking the "Automations" link in the sidebar, you will see the list in Figure 1. This list has four columns:

Column
Description

Name

This is the name of the Automation that uniquely identifies it

Trigger

This value indicates the trigger type for the Automation (Event or Scheduled)

Status

This is the status of the Automation (Published, Disabled, Draft).

Updated On

This is the date that the Automation was last updated (or created)

Automations can be in one of four states:

  • Published: The Automation is live and currently running (or waiting for trigger).

  • Disabled: The Automation was previously published but is now deactivated. It can be reactivated in this state. It will not be evaluated no matter the trigger.

  • Draft: The Automation is still being created and is not considered live. It will not be evaluated in this state.

Only "Draft" Automations can be edited fully. Published Automations can be renamed and only accept editing of action nodes as to not create problems for users currently in a published Automation. There is an option to republish Automations.

Only "Disabled" and "Draft" Automations can be deleted. If you want to completely remove a published Automation, disable it first and then delete.

Your account can have as many Automations as you want currently active, and multiple Automations can be triggered by the same trigger.
