Destinations

What is a destination?

A Destination is an integration capabality which receives data from Fanplayr 360. Not all destination capabilities can be used by all functionality in Fanplayr 360. Each destination capability may support one or more of the following:

• Automations

• Audience Syncing

• Exports

• Pipelines

Types of destinations

Automations

These destinations receive single Event or Profile data on each call. Examples include sending an SMS or email, or adding a user to an email list.

These destinations can be used as an Action in an Automation.

Audience Syncing

These destinations can be used to sync audiences from Fanplayr 360 to an external application. Data will be batched when possible.

These destinations can be set as a Destination in an Audience.

Exports

These destinations can be used to export any amount of data from Fanplayr 360 to an external repository such as SFTP as CSV or JSON.

These destinations can be set as Destination in an Export.

Pipelines

These destinations receive single Event or Profile data on each call, much like Automations. The most common use case is forwarding Fanplayr 360 events to external analytics platforms like Amplitude.

These destinations can be set as a Destination in a Pipeline.
