Marketo API Integration

To integrate Marketo into your system, you will need the following credentials from your Marketo account:

  • Endpoint URL

  • Client ID

  • Client Secret

These credentials allow your system to authenticate and interact with Marketo's API.

Enabling API Access in Marketo

To configure the integration, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Marketo Admin Panel

    • Navigate to Admin > Web Services

    • Locate your Endpoint URL

  2. Create an API User and Role

    • Go to Admin > Users & Roles

    • Create a new role with API access permissions

    • Assign this role to a new API user

  3. Obtain API Credentials

    • Go to Admin > LaunchPoint

    • Select New Service and choose Custom

    • Enter a service name and select the newly created API user

    • Once saved, retrieve the Client ID and Client Secret

Sending Leads to Marketo

To successfully send lead data to Marketo, the following fields must be populated with fixed values:

  • Program Name

  • Program Source

  • Reason
